In HackerRank Tests, multiple-choice questions (MCQ) require you to select one or more correct answers from a list of options.
Answering an MCQ
To answer an MCQ:
- Select MCQ from the test dashboard and click Solve.
- Read the question in the left panel.
- Choose the correct answer(s) from the options in the right panel by choosing the appropriate radio button.
- (Optional) Clear your selection by manually deselecting the options or clicking Clear Selections.
- Click Save & Proceed to save your selection and move to the next question.
Note:
- You can update your answer at any time before the test ends by clicking Modify.
- Some tests may include negative marking. Review your answers carefully before submitting them.

Answering an MCQ
- Select the Multiple-Choice Question in your test or click Solve to open the question interface.
- Choose the appropriate radio button(s) for the correct answer and click Save.
- Scroll down or click Continue to move to the next question.
- You can modify your response any number of times before the test ends by clicking Modify.
Note: Test setters may enable negative markings, so carefully review your responses before submitting them.
